Preventative Maintenance and Service

In any business environment it is essential that availability is kept to a maximum and that all photocopiers and multi-functional devices operate at optimum performance. This is particularly important in high volume environments like your own where the output of the device is mission critical and can significantly impact the efficiency and consequently the performance of your office. We will therefore provide monthly preventative maintenance visits.

This would not be a special arrangement, this is how Systems Technology have always operated and is the standard of service that all of our clients receive. The result is that we have very few emergency calls to deal with each week, so when one does occur we can respond with an average of less than two hours (engineer on site).

To put this in perspective, we currently support about 1,300 different devices across clients with machine populations between 1 and 140 separate systems. On average we handle 9 emergency response calls a day between our 13 engineers across our entire customer base. This is solely due to our preventative maintenance.

Other suppliers who operate in a reactive way do not have systems geared towards preventative maintenance and as such can never truly offer this class of service. The industry ratio of engineers to machines is 1:175 - our ratio is 1:100. Anything above this ratio means that true monthly preventative maintenance cannot be provided.

There are other peripheral benefits to this approach. We take care of all meter readings and toner stock replenishment at our visits which removes extra administration work for somebody. The same engineering team visits you every time so they gain an accurate understanding of your document management requirements. Other benefits you will see in our guarantees of service.

Finally, please bear in mind that these are thorough preventative maintenance visits, not the courtesy visits that other suppliers class as preventative maintenance. We will always thoroughly clean the machines, regularly change wearing parts or any parts which are likely to wear soon, and keep all components operating within their optimum, not maximum, life span.
